Here’s an intro to our Bath Humbug artists and designer makers...

Silversides Glass

Look closely at Silversides Glass because hidden between their bold abstract glass art and delicate landscapes are little touches of seasonal humour. Look out for glass fortune telling fish, sports fandom disguised as festive decorations and a collection of miniatures.
Rob and Gill Silversides have been working in glass here in Bath for eight years but bring together a world of memories, from 1970's British childhoods to world locations you have known and loved.

Each piece is painted using traditional materials, such as oil-based inks on paper, and has been individually crafted for this show. The aim of each painting is to share an experience of everyday life, including countryside landscapes and observations of the city that evoke memorable moments and places.
