Felicity Staywell  -  My Life in Tartlets

Official Opening and Live Performance:  Fri 26 Sept

Show continues:  24 – 28 Sept  2014

A rare opportunity to peep through the keyhole of Celebrity Chef and lifestyle guru Felicity Staywell. Step into her boudoir and experience first hand the glamour enjoyed only by the privileged few. There will be an opportunity for autographs and cake, but please keep a respectful distance!

On display will be items from Felicity's past; treasured kitchen utensils, television paraphernalia, items from her celebrity wardrobe, not to mention an exposé of her 'liasons dangereuse' with other named celebrity chefs.

Felicity Staywell - My Life in Tartlets is the work of Performer/Artist Sylvia Hunt. This installation explores our fear of not being valued or recognised. Sylvia's creation, wannabe celebrity chef Felicity Staywell is also the catalyst for an examination of celebrity media desperation, and the constant clinging to golden age nostalgia!

This exhibition will be taking place at 44AD Art Space, in Abbey Street, Bath from September Wednesday 24th-Sunday 28th, with official opening including live performance Friday 26th September.
