All my life, I have been interested in Art. I’ve read about Art, learned about Art and bought Art. I even named my son Art. But I didn’t draw, paint or create a single thing for 30 years.
Then, at the end of 2016, a heart-breaking year, something snapped. I knew I needed to paint. I started and I couldn’t stop.
I started hanging the work on my walls and found people wanted to buy them. They’re now in galleries and, best of all, they’re in people’s homes.
The work in this exhibition is mostly newly created in the Summer of 2017. It’s inspired by the ever-changing River, which runs past my garden in Bath and which I love.
