Five years after a touring exhibition that spanned the South West, members of the Inch by IN:CH collective reconvene to review their subsequent journey and start another with an exhibition at 44AD presenting small and medium-sized sculpture, painting, and installation.
Inch by IN:CH Collective believes art not only expresses but can also explore and connect. Something that is particularly pertinent in times of transition.
When reflecting on the work they made in 2021, they are considering
- What functions do their individual art practices perform now
- How has their work evolved since the last time they exhibited together
- How will new venues, new times affect interaction with the work
There will be a chance to hear the artists talk about their work on Wednesday eve between 6-8pm, and a children's workshop – ‘Sketch and Sculpt’ on the Sunday morning between 11am-1pm encouraging children to explore their own place in the world through creative practice.
