AFFINITY – A Convergence of Painting
Affinity Art Collective is pleased to present AFFINITY, its inaugural exhibition, showcasing eight artists from across the globe, united by a shared dedication to painting and their participation in the Turps Mentorship Programme 2025/26.
The exhibition brings together the distinct voices of Una d'Aragona (Somerset, UK), Asiya Clarke (Wales, UK, born in Zimbabwe), Jane C. Fox (Dorset, UK), Beate Köhne (Berlin, Germany), Jen Metcalfe (Dorset, UK), Frances O’Reilly (County Down, Northern Ireland), Kirsi Reinikka (Brisbane, Australia, born in Finland) and Rebecca Odessa (Isle of Man).
Eight Artists. Eight Perspectives. One Medium.
By transcending geographical and cultural borders, AFFINITY explores the subtle, yet profound connections that unite us. Rather than focusing on our differences, the title serves as a testament to the shared human experience, creative empathy, and mutual resonance found in diverse artistic expressions.
Painting can be a lonely profession, but these artists have decided to share dialogue, bring together their unique cultural heritage and create a vibrant platform for new work.
