Bath Young Inventors Award 2025 is an exciting opportunity for you to invent something or create something innovative, whilst learning about some of Bath's great inventors from the past and present.

Bath Medical Museum
Wednesday 20th August at 1pm (1hr)
Join us for a fun-filled Guided Tour of at Bath Medical Museum exploring the current exhibition, “What’s in a Doctor’s Bag?“ From old-fashioned tools to clever medical gadgets, you'll see how helping people has changed over time. After the tour, get ready to become an inventor yourself!
In our FREE hands-on activity session, young inventors will imagine what might be in a doctor’s bag of the future. With help from guides, you’ll dream up your own amazing medical inventions — and sketch, design, and share your ideas like a real inventor!
Perfect for curious minds aged 8–18 (all young people must be accompanied by an adult).
Museum of Bath at Work

Join us for a fun-filled Guided Tour of Inventions at the Museum of Bath at Work! Explore clever creations made by inventors over the ages local to Bath!
You’ll be amazed at what people have dreamed up!
After the tour, get ready to become an inventor yourself!
In our FREE hands-on activity session, you’ll get to imagine your very own invention. With help from guides, you’ll sketch, design, and plan out your big idea — just like real inventors do!

The Inventors of Bath Trail booklet will guide you on an exciting walk around Bath. Shining a spotlight on historical and contemporary inventors and innovators alongside places of interest; this is a great chance to learn the history of some of your favourite places in Bath.

Have your invention shown in a public gallery!
An exhibition displaying all the entries with design ideas (drawings and/or models) will be on display at 44AD artspace between 1st - 4th October 2025, with a prize-giving event held on Saturday 4th October 2025 at MoBaW (Museum of Bath at Work).
