Deck the Walls 2023
Open Call for 44AD’s Winter exhibition
44AD artspace annual winter exhibition ‘Deck the Walls’ is back, and open for artwork submissions, with plans to convert the gallery space into its traditional record store themed extravaganza!
All 2D artwork submissions are required to be 12”x12” square format (the size of a standard vinyl record sleeve). Painting, photo, printing… all mediums are accepted.
If the work is framed, the size of the frame is to be included in the 12”x 12” size requirement. Framed work is to be presented in either black or white frames.
All 3D work submissions are to work around the volume of 12”x12”x12”.
The entry limit for ‘Deck the Walls’ is four works per individual. There is no fee to submit work but there will be a gallery hanging fee for each work accepted into the show.
• 1 x work accepted = £10
• 2 x works accepted = £15
• 3 x works accepted = £20
• 4 x works accepted = £25
Original artworks will sell for £78 with the possibility of selling additional prints of work at £33 or £45 (at no extra fee).
Participating artists are encouraged to help out with invigilating the exhibition.

Some dates to remember...
• Deadline for all submissions is - Sunday 3rd December.
• Accepted exhibitors will be contacted by - Tuesday 5th December.
• Accepted work is to be brought to 44AD artspace on - Monday 11th December.
• 'Deck the Walls' opening night will be held on - Friday 15th December.
• 'Deck the Walls' exhibition will continue until - Friday 22nd December
