Protest is collective action.
But that collective action is made up of individual actions. A thousand personal stories, all happening at once. Fear and hope. Rage and joy. Reflection and celebration.
This exhibition explores the individual people and moments that shape movements and drive change, through pictures made over a seven-year period 2019– 2026 in London, Bristol, Bath and elsewhere.
About the Photographer
Jamie Bellinger is a self-taught documentary photographer from Bath. He has previously exhibited at P21 Gallery in London, and was awarded the British Photography Award for Documentary Photography in 2023 and 2025.
