The Solid and the Fragile

The Solid and the Fragile is a celebration of individual approaches to three dimensional art - the art of physical objects.
Using materials as diverse as wood, stone, clay, textiles, copper, glass, ceramics, plaster and bronze; this exhibition presents a wonderful array of sculptures in various materials and styles by members of the Cotswolds Sculptors Association based around Bath. Each artist is presenting at least one major piece of work responding to the title theme. The show also includes a collection of small works following the theme of Trees. The Cotswolds Sculptors Association (CSA) was formed in 2016 as an inclusive local artists collaboration. CSA hold a major annual summer exhibition at Miserden Gardens, (June-August), meetings and other events, and now have members across the country including many in and around Bath and Bristol.
