Bristol and Bath Arts Weekender at 44AD

As part of the Bristol and Bath Arts Weekender, 44AD artspace, Fringe Arts Bath and Bandwagon Cabaret are working together to deliver a weekend of fantastic free admission arts exhibitions and events.

An exhibition of work by four artists now living in Bristol, who believe in the continuing validity of the abstract tradition.

Mark Alexander, Angela Baum, Marguerite Knight and Barbara Norquory will be showing colourful, contrasting styles and approaches to contemporary painting.

Fringe Arts Bath - ON PHOTOcopy  -  44AD Basement Gallery

FAB (Fringe Arts Bath) present a collaborative exhibition ON PHOTOcopy which will explore themes of displacement.

Expect lots of photocopy, pop-up installation, film and performance!

44AD Open Studios

An opportunity to look behind the scenes at 44AD and discover what the resident artists get up to.

44AD’s three floors of studios are home to some of Bath’s brightest creative visual artists, whose practice ranges from paint, photography, printmaking and puppetry, to sculpture, installation and video art.

Come and meet the artists and explore the exciting range of work that goes on!

Sylvia Hunt presents The Bandwagon Cabaret

Riding roughshod over the Bristol and Bath Art Weekender, showing no consideration for peaceful residents or sedate passers-by, the Bandwagon Cabaret storms into town!

Swing by 44AD to experience an evening of live art, live music, poetry, puppetry and who-knows-what.
