Come along to 44AD artspace and check out some fantastic printing techniques with The Print Workshop teacher Bella Barton.
Each workshop is a two hour morning session, bringing a lively approach to printmaking.
Discover different ways of producing relief prints from reduction linocuts through to mono prints, using such things as card or other found objects. These processes are low-tech but can be very effective and best of all, it is possible to do them at home!
The cost of each session is £20 to include light refreshments and prep materials (the use of rollers, cutters, inking plates etc). Limited paper is also available for trial prints (Posh paper will need to be brought in).

Stencil Screen Print; Good for bright clean bold designs created using stencils and passing ink through a screen for flat areas of colour.
Sat 02 May 2015 Window Mount for your Prints
Learn how to cut a professional looking mount for your prints.
Bring an image that can be mounted within A4 dimensions.
Mount card provided.
Sat 06 June 2015 Pronto Print
Pronto plate print: This process is a simple form of lithography using a polyester sheet (imported from USA). Image can be drawn directly onto plate using a Sharpie pen or computer Photoshop adjusted images printed onto the plate via laser printer.
Sat 04 July 2015 Combination Prints
Combine different print processes such as lino and screen print together for exciting outcomes.
