44AD artspace is looking for volunteers...

44AD artspace is very excited to announce its move to a permanent venue in the city centre of Bath. Our new premises will be located at 4 Abbey St (right next to the Roman Baths) and the new gallery and studios complex will open on 01 Aug 2014 (6pm – 8pm).

Yes, save the date!

44AD’s move will involve the new premises (a four storey Georgian town house, previously council offices) being transformed into a contemporary art gallery ready for the opening launch extravaganza.

From Mon 19th May, 44AD artspace will be looking for a group of volunteers to help with the move and the work will include:

•   Decorating (interior installation ideas welcomed)

•   Technical help (video projection & installation)

•   Promotion and set up of the opening show ‘I Claudius’ *

•   Helping out with the bar etc. on the opening night.

Your volunteered time would be extremely appreciated and there will be exhibiting opportunities at the opening show and/or the Open Summer show, alongside one year associate artist memberships on offer.

So if you are looking for a Summer project, want to get involved with the local arts scene and don’t mind mucking in and getting creative, please contact Katie at 44AD artspace on:
